EightBase platform

A back end for multimedia installations and games without writing server code: collections, user sign-in, files and updates are configured in the panel.

How it is built

A control server and separate independent servers for every site. A kiosk, a projection or a panel gets its own server side, managed online.

  • Control server

organisations, projects, servers and members in one panel

  • Isolated servers

each has its own database, its own file store, its own administrator and its own domain name

  • Life cycle

start, stop, rebuild and delete from the same panel

What the developer gets

  • Data collections

the schema is described in the interface: text, numbers, dates, files, links to records

  • A ready interface to the data

a list with paging, filtering and sorting, reading, creating, editing, deleting, batch operations

  • Access rules

for every operation and role a condition is set that limits the range of records

  • User sign-in

email and password, a one-time code, sign-in through VKontakte and Yandex ID, two-factor verification

  • File storage

local or in object storage, with thumbnails created automatically

  • Libraries

    for JavaScript, TypeScript and Unity

Who it suits

  • Multimedia installations

a server side of its own for every kiosk, projection and interactive table

  • Unity game projects

leaderboards, lobbies, player profiles, content configuration

  • Studios and integrators of digital solutions for museums and cultural centres

  • Corporate teams

internal tools, data collection forms, prototypes

Platform

  • Linux in containers

    Docker and Docker Compose

  • Domestic operating systems and databases

Astra Linux, ALT Linux, RED OS, PostgresPro

  • A panel in the browser

    no client program to install
