About the project

Six interactive applications for the Academy of Innovators stand at StudFest 2026: a maze game, a startup screening, a quiz, startup internships, success stories and booking a consultation.

On 23 January 2026 VTB Arena hosted StudFest, the 6th Moscow International Festival of Student Entrepreneurship. It was organised by the autonomous non-profit organisation Human Capital Development, which reports to the Moscow Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development. More than 30 thousand people applied to take part.

The Academy of Innovators — Moscow’s programme for developing youth entrepreneurship and creating startups — presented its own stand at the festival. We made six interactive applications for it: visitors played a game, tested their startup idea, answered quiz questions and browsed startup internships and the stories of programme participants. We did not build the stand: our part was the applications for its screens. The work ran from 12 to 22 January.

The task

The stand had to tell students about the programme through action: let them browse vacancies at resident companies and participants’ solutions, play a quiz for prizes and test their own idea. The client supplied the vacancies, case studies and idea-testing questions; the quiz we were to come up with ourselves and get approved. The game had to be time-limited so that long queues did not build up at the stand. Deadline — 22 January, a day before the festival.

What we did

“Innovator’s run”

A Pac-Man-style game on a vertical touch screen. A visitor guides the Academy mascot through a maze with an on-screen joystick and collects coins; the screen shows the score and a timer. You win when you reach a set number of points, so a single round does not drag on. The start screen shows the “Record of the day”.

“Startup screening”

A touch table: a visitor answers a series of questions about their project — “How many people are on your team?”, “What do you already have at this point?”, “How do you rate the competition?”. After each answer comes a card with a joke title (“Master”, “The Wolf of Academician Innovatorsky Street”) and a hint on how the Academy can help. At the end the idea is scored on three criteria — interest, technological level and relevance — with the total score, a level and explanations.

“Entrepreneur’s quiz”

A quiz on business knowledge with prizes from the Academy. Games ran on a schedule: the stand’s large screen showed the countdown “Starts in”, then the QR code “Scan me” and the timer “Time left”. Visitors answered from their phones.

“Startup internships”

A vertical touch screen “Choose a company”: cards of the programme’s startups with open internships — “Electronics engineer”, “Circuit design engineer”; tapping “Open” brings up a description and links.

“Success stories”

A gallery of solutions by Academy participants that are already on the market: photos of the founder and the product, a description and the main result — “raised 20 million roubles in investment”, “increased revenue 7-fold in 1 year”.

Consultation booking

A single-page web form for booking a consultation on the Academy of Innovators ecosystem.

How it is built

Four of the applications are Windows programs for the stand’s touch screens: “Innovator’s run”, “Startup screening”, “Startup internships” and “Success stories”. The quiz and the booking form are web applications.

Screens on the stand: a touch table in a white casing, vertical touch screens in glowing frames set into the stand wall, and a large screen above the counter.

The screens are designed in the Academy of Innovators style: a dark blue background, the programme mascot, pixel dinosaurs, coins and isometric cubes. The mascot was provided by the client.
