About the project
The “Generation” game, the “Engineering Centre” and “Heroes of Siberian Warmth” touch applications and a neural network photo zone for the Museum of Siberian Warmth in Krasnoyarsk.
On 15 December 2025 the Museum of Siberian Warmth opened in Krasnoyarsk, at the branch of the “Russia” National Centre on the Yenisei embankment — a multimedia pavilion about how the coal of Krasnoyarsk Krai becomes heat and light in people’s homes. The pavilion was created by SUEK-Krasnoyarsk, the Siberian Generating Company and the Melnichenko Foundation.
We built the software for six interactives: two games, two touch-screen applications, a neural network photo zone and the final “Coal of the Future” zone — and launched them on site in Krasnoyarsk.

The task
Under the technical specification, the pavilion’s interactives had to be turned into working software — from a joystick game to a neural network photo zone — and launched in time for the opening. The main period ran from 10 October to 30 November 2025, with refinements until 6 December.
What we did
The “Generation” game
The visitor is the director of a combined heat and power plant. In two minutes they have to assemble the plant layout — putting the boiler, the crusher, the generator and other units in place — and score points (the scoreboard counts out of 90). The controls are a joystick and two buttons on a pedestal: move, rotate, place. We built the game logic, the 3D models of the plant and the interface, connected the joystick and set up real-time rendering.
“Engineering Centre”
An application for a vertical touch screen with three sections: “Open-pit coal mines”, “Walking bucket-wheel excavator” and “Combined Heat and Power Plant 3”. The sections are isometric 3D scenes with numbered points. At the CHP plant the points lead through the stages: coal storage, fuel combustion and steam generation, turbine rotation and electricity generation, water heating, and supply of water to the mains; a touch opens detailed information. We created the interaction scenario, the interface, the 3D scenes and the software.
“Heroes of Siberian Warmth”
A gallery of working dynasties of Krasnoyarsk Krai. A touch on the screen switches between the families: the Dudnikovs — 485 years of combined service, the Antsov-Murzins — 217, the Brylev-Pautovs — 165. We built the software and the interface and connected the sensors.
“Siberian Home” photo zone
The visitor takes a photo with a tablet, a neural network processes the shot, and the finished photo can be collected via a QR code or received by email. We built the software and the interface and set up the neural network and photo delivery.
“Coal of the Future”
For the final zone we programmed the logic and the IR frame sensors.
The “Mining” game
For the game in which visitors try their hand as a miner, we made the interface.
How it is built
“Generation”: the 3D scene of the plant is rendered in real time; the controls are a joystick with two buttons on a round pedestal.
“Engineering Centre”: a 1080×1920 vertical screen, an application built in Unity 6, 3D scenes of the open-pit mines, the excavator and the CHP plant.
“Coal of the Future”: an IR frame and a server.
“Siberian Home”: a tablet, a neural network, photo delivery via QR code and by email.
Result
The pavilion opened on 15 December 2025 together with the branch of the “Russia” National Centre in Krasnoyarsk, and to visitors on 18 December. As RIA Novosti writes, the “Mining” and “Generation” games “give visitors the chance to try on the role of a miner or a power engineer”.
