Gesture-controlled interactive video wall for the 125th anniversary of Bosch
Events / Gesture-controlled interactive video wall for the 125th anniversary of Bosch
About the project
Projection screens with a gesture-driven menu: guests at the celebration of Bosch's 125th anniversary browsed photos and launched films about the company with a wave of the hand.
In 2011 Bosch celebrated its 125th anniversary. For the celebration, an interactive video wall was made: large projection screens with a “Bosch 125th anniversary” menu. It was controlled by touchless gestures, following the instructions on a stand: moving a hand left and right or up and down navigated the menu, and pushing the palm forward selected a film or closed it.
The venue is not named in the video.
This is early work by Artem Maznov, co-founder of 8vision, made before the studio was founded, under the HYPARXIS Interactive Systems brand. The video comes from the HYPARXIS archive on Vimeo.
