VK Video zone in VK Store
About the project
A VK Video studio in the VK Store in Sirius: guests film themselves in a show, film, anime or sports scene and take the video away via a QR code. For children, a game.
Since 2023 the VK Store flagship shop in Sirius had housed our VK Clips zone — a studio where visitors shot a short clip. In December 2025 VK Store LLC commissioned us to turn it into a zone for VK Video, the VK video service.
We prepared a redesign of the zone layout and made the app for a mini-pavilion with a camera, a microphone, a touch console and a main screen. The visitor chooses a mode — adult or children’s — stands in front of the camera and, following the host’s prompts, records a short video in which they become the hero of a show, a film or a game. They download the finished video via a QR code.

The task
To replace the VK Clips zone with an interactive structure for recording short user videos that showcases VK Video content. Under the brief, the pavilion includes a camera, a microphone, a touch-screen console and a main screen. Two modes were needed: an adult one, with a choice of four scenarios based on shows and programmes, and a children’s one, with a game in which you collect objects. At the end, a QR code to download the video.
What we did
Standby mode and mode selection
The main screen and the console invite visitors to come up and start. The mode is chosen on the touch console, and from then on everything is mirrored on the main screen: the rules, the countdown, prompts on where to stand.
Adult mode — four themes
The guest chooses a theme, steps into the marked area and finds themselves in the scene set; an off-screen host prompts them what to do. Recording lasts up to 40 seconds.
“Your time” — VK Video shows: a dressing room before going on, stand-up, a big stage “in the cameras’ sights”.
“You’re in the shot” — films: a blockbuster in which the guest fights off a hundred enemies, a dance film, winning a film award.
“Anime style” — an adventure with magic stones and a return to reality.
“On your marks!” — sport: a decisive penalty, tennis and esports.
Children’s mode “VK Video for Kids”
A game with the Glazki, the VK Video mascots. In front of the camera, the child catches with their hands the essentials for a journey through the VK Video universe — likes, a camera, a microphone — and lets the useless things go by: dislikes, a flat battery, spam. At the end, a video of the playthrough via a QR code.
The host’s voice
Twenty voice-over phrases — seventeen for the adult mode and three for the children’s — were recorded in a studio.
Zone redesign
We prepared the technical brief, a 3D model and visualisations of the zone, wall elevations and a multimedia plan.
How it is built
The app is written in Unity: choosing a scene, recording the video from the camera and delivering it via a QR code.
The scene backgrounds were generated by neural networks and animated.
Sound is recorded by a Samson CM12CW hanging microphone on a K&M ceiling mount through an Audient iD14 MKII audio interface — this equipment was supplied by us.
Result
The work under the contract was accepted with a signed acceptance certificate on 29 December 2025, and the client had no quality claims. The sound recording equipment was handed over to VK Store in Sirius on 29 June 2026.
