About the project
Software for an advertising group’s stand at the ProMediaTech 2025 festival: a quiz with a photo activation, a discount wheel, a video showcase controlled from a touch table and the “Memory” game.
On 15–16 January 2025 Crocus Expo hosted the 16th ProMediaTech international festival of promotion and advertising technologies: according to the organisers, more than 170 companies from eight countries on 8000 square metres. One of the advertising groups showed stand C04 there — red, with a large LED screen and vertical screens built into the wall.
We wrote four programs for the stand: a quiz with a photo activation, a discount wheel, a showcase of videos about the group’s lines of business controlled from a touch table, and a server back end with an admin panel. The work took five days, from 11 to 15 January.

The task
On the stand the group presented its lines of business — museums, events, exhibitions, digital, souvenirs. Guests needed to be able to choose what to watch on the big screen themselves, be kept busy with a game and take away something of their own — a photo or a discount.
What we did
Quiz
A vertical touch screen in the stand wall, with two sections at the start. “Who are you in the event industry?” is a quiz with a photo activation: a guest looks into the camera to the left of the screen, presses the shutter button, and the program puts their face into a picture. The photo is collected via a QR code, and there is a “Play again” option. “Test yourself” is a quiz on industry terms: for example, “Who is called an artist at a stand build-up?” or “A dimmer is needed for…”. Each question has four answer options.
Discount wheel
The second vertical screen: first “Get a discount!”, then “Try your luck!”. A guest spins the wheel with the “Spin the wheel” button — there are several attempts — and presses “Show my prize”. The “Collect your prize!” screen shows the discount and a QR code for saving it to a phone. The program has two sections: PRINT and DIGITAL.
Video showcase
A horizontal touch table in front of the large screen. The table’s main screen reads “Discover our projects”: Museum, Event, Digital, Expo, Gifts and the group’s contacts. A guest chooses a line of business, and its video starts on the large screen.
“Memory” game
The game starts from the same table: cards with photos of the group’s projects have to be turned over in pairs against the clock, and at the end there is an “Again” button.
Back end
A server with an admin panel stores the photos taken in the quiz.
How it is built
The quiz and the discount wheel run on two vertical touch screens built into the stand wall. The quiz camera is mounted to the left of the screen.
The showcase and “Memory” run on a horizontal touch table in front of the LED screen. A choice on the table switches the video on the large screen.
Result
All four programs were handed over on 15 January 2025, the first day of the festival. The quiz, the discount wheel, the showcase and “Memory” were filmed in use with visitors in the video about the stand, published on 17 January 2025.
