“Ecology” film for LUKOIL
Digital / “Ecology” film for LUKOIL
About the project
A short film with 3D infographics on LUKOIL's environmental results for 2016: waste water, contaminated land, Euro-5 petrol and “zero discharge” at sea.
A film about LUKOIL's environmental work: 3D graphics and figures over nature footage. It shows the results for 2016, so the film was made no earlier than 2017; it was published in May 2018.

What the film shows
Cells under a microscope and shoots in soil with red crystals growing among them, captioned “Introducing innovation into business processes” and “Reducing negative environmental impact”. Then the LUKOIL logo above a forest and the figures for 2016: a three-dimensional glass “52.5%” above a stream — the reduction in discharges of contaminated waste water — and a “36.8%” built of steel structures in a field by a river — the reduction in the area of contaminated land.
Next comes a map on which the plants turn from red to green, with the caption “LUKOIL has been producing only top-grade Euro-5 petrol since 2012”; then offshore platforms and vessels — “Zero discharge technology”, with the stages of sorting and loading. In the finale, the LUKOIL logo and a butterfly.
How it is built
Three-dimensional figures, crystals, plants and platforms are combined with nature footage and overlaid with interface elements in a green palette.
Result
The short version of the film runs 47 seconds, the full version 1 minute 43 seconds.
