Decision

As part of the renovation, modern exhibition facilities, multimedia elements and interactive solutions were implemented. The exhibition combines classical museum formats with digital technologies, providing visual presentation of information and deep immersion of visitors into the history, culture and nature of the region.
 Studio 8Vision has developed a design project for exhibition spaces, created visual and multimedia concepts, and also implemented exhibition objects. The team was responsible for integrating interactive elements, working with the visual environment, and adapting solutions to the museum's architectural features.

Scale

The Murmansk Regional Museum of Local Lore is one of the oldest museums in the Kola Arctic, founded in 1926. The museum's collection includes more than 160,000 items. After a large-scale reconstruction, the museum presented an updated exhibition, including 14 themed halls located in the historic building and new exhibition spaces.

Result

The renovation of the Murmansk Museum of Local Lore has made it possible to create a modern museum space with an updated exposition and a technological environment. The implemented solutions have made the presentation of the region's history more visual and accessible, increasing visitor engagement and the quality of the museum experience.
